Inventory Management Specialist

About the role

You will serve as an Inventory Management Specialist in the Supply Branch, Public Works Department, Naval Station Norfolk, of Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Mid-Atlantic.. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Overseeing the inventory accuracy of material and equipment managed and stored; 2) Ensuring physical inventories, causative research, and reconciliations are performed as required; 3) Ensuring that personnel are reporting supplier performance and quality information data, including but not limited to, deficiencies, discrepancies, non-conformances and premature failures attributable to poor workmanship, deficient manufacturing, material substitution, fraud, or counterfeit; and 4) Assisting supply personnel with audit preparation, site visits, and audits.
