Red Seal Parts Technician (Warehouseperson)

About the role

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Warehouseperson is responsible for the receipt, secure storage, and proper issue of materials and supplies required for operations. This is a full-time hourly position that offers an attractive 4x4 schedule consisting of days and nights. The position is site-based at our operations in the Elk Valley, and the ability to reliably commute to or relocate near Sparwood, B.C is necessary. Hourly Wage: $ 51.36 This position focuses on supporting parts room operations and supply chain functions in an industrial setting, including inventory control, shipping and receiving, and handling heavy mining components. Requirements

• Valid Interprovincial Red Seal Parts Technician (Warehouseperson) Certification
• Valid driver's license
• Strong understanding of warehousing functions
• The ability to quickly master a materials management system
• Able to multi-task and meet challenges directly
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
• Previous experience in a mining or industrial environment is considered an asset
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite® including Dynamics AX will be considered a strong asset
