JOB DESCRIPTION: We are seeking a Tech Legal Counsel to join our Legal team and support HBX Group's growth as a leading Travel Tech company. This role has a strong technology and AI governance focus, providing legal support to the Technology and Global Procurement departments on daily business decisions, contractual matters, and risk prevention. The position will be responsible for reviewing and negotiating Technology and non-Tech contracts, advising on AI‑related agreements and governance, and ensuring compliance with applicable legal requirements. The role supports Fintech and Insurtech teams as well on their day-to-day business decisions, assisting with the contract negotiation and considering the regulatory framework worldwide. The position also supports regional commercial legal teams on Technology, Intellectual Property, and Data Protection matters, working collaboratively with cross-functional areas such as Tax, Compliance, and HR to deliver cohesive and aligned legal advice. The ideal candidate is a qualified lawyer with at least 3 years of experience in Technology and IP Law, strong interest and knowledge in AI and emerging technologies, as well as some experience in Fintech, excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, and proven ability to navigate complex negotiations. A team‑oriented mindset, strong analytical capabilities, and adaptability in a fast‑changing environment are essential to succeed in this role. Expected Deliveries Provide legal advice to the Technology and Global Procurement departments in their day‑to‑day business decisions, including the review and negotiation of both Tech, non‑Tech as well as assistance with Fintech contracts. Deliver preventive counselling on applicable legal requirements, proactively identifying, monitoring, and advising on legal risks within the assigned areas. Support the company's strategic focus on New Technologies and Artificial Intelligence by assisting with AI governance, AI‑related contracting, and the implementation of evolving regulatory frameworks across the Group.
