POSITION SUMMARY: The Retail Corporate Front-End Operations Manager leads enterprise, Base Camp, and field initiatives that enhance operational excellence, customer experience, and business performance across retail locations. Serving as a key liaison between Corporate Leadership, Retail Operations, Information Technology, field leadership, and store teams, this role drives the development, implementation, and execution of front-end operational strategies, process improvements, and technology initiatives. Through cross-functional collaboration, performance analysis, and project leadership, the Retail Corporate Front-End Operations Manager leads system implementations and process improvements that increase efficiency, profitability, and the overall Outfitter and customer experience. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Develop, standardize, and support front-end operational processes across retail locations to improve consistency, efficiency, compliance, and customer experience. Monitor and improve checkout performance, transaction accuracy, customer service metrics, labor productivity, and overall store operational effectiveness. Lead initiatives to evaluate and enhance front-end operations, customer touchpoints, processes, and procedures to reduce friction and drive productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Partner with store, field, and retail operations leadership to identify operational challenges, resolve escalated issues, and implement sustainable solutions that support business objectives. Ensure successful execution of retail programs, promotions, operational standards, customer experience initiatives, and company-wide process improvements. Lead operational and IT projects from planning through execution, including scope, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, risk management, implementation, and performance tracking. Support the testing, training, deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement of retail technologies and operational systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Merchandising, Supply Chain, Finance, Human Resources, Asset Protection, and Information Technology, to improve operational efficiency and support strategic initiatives. Provide guidance, coaching, and operational support to store and field leadership teams to ensure effective execution and adoption of new programs, technologies, and processes. ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree in Management, Business, or equivalent experience Years of experience: 5+ years of experience in Project Management and/or Retail Management required KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to facilitate meetings, lead business reviews, and deliver presentations to both large and small groups. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively influence, present recommendations, and respond to questions from executive leadership, field management, and cross-functional stakeholders. Ability to analyze business performance metrics, financial results, labor productivity, inventory trends, and operational KPIs to identify opportunities and drive measurable business outcomes. Ability to interpret and apply financial, operational, legal, and technical information to support sound business decisions and organizational objectives. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, business intelligence and reporting tools, retail technology platforms, point-of-sale systems, inventory management applications, and other enterprise software. Ability to quickly learn, adapt to, and champion new technologies and processes. Ability to collaborate, build relationships, and influence across all levels of the organization. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 20% Travel Expectations PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Regularly sits and works on a computer. Occasionally stands and walks. Seldom/never lifts up to 50 lbs.
