  • Ability to work with chemicals including acids, bases, oxidizers, solvents, and related materials
  • Ability to work in respirators when performing PMs on process chambers that run HPMs

Job Details: Job Description: The Intel Technology Research Group is seeking a motivated Semiconductor Research Technician to join our RP1 300mm processing facility. In this role, you will support innovative materials-based research projects for wafer processing and advanced packaging as part of next-generation semiconductor technology development. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge semiconductor innovation! As a technician in this research environment, you will support hands-on experimentation, operate advanced 300mm equipment, perform wafer-level testing and measurements, and assist with equipment upkeep and process execution. Your work will directly support the development of technologies that help shape the future of Intel products and the semiconductor industry. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Operate 300mm semiconductor processing equipment and run specialized process recipes on the production floor Maintain strong attention to process parameters during equipment and process execution Support materials-based research experiments for wafer and packaging applications Respond in real time to process development engineering needs, maintaining flexibility to support critical assignments and evolving training needs as priorities shift Perform wafer-level tests, measurements, and data collection, including the use of optical and electron microscopy Assist with equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic process support Follow safety, quality, and cleanroom procedures to ensure reliable operation Document work accurately and communicate results clearly with researchers and engineers Collaborate with multiple development groups, including operations, integration, module engineering, and other technicians, to support research objectives and project timelines Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient processing environment while identifying opportunities to improve quality, reliability, cost, productivity, and safety Support the Ronler Acres Emergency Response Team (ERT), as needed
