Responsibilities
- Reporting to the Laundry Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
- Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
- Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards
- Carry out various functions within the Laundry department
- Sort and categorize soiled linen
- Feed linen and laundry into folding machine
- Receive linen coming out of laundry machine, sort and separate
- Feed, receive and record all linen items
- Report necessary maintenance items
- Ensure the completion of task checklist by the end of each shift
- Accurately record production data by specific items to track efficiency and inventory
- Ensure laundry machines are thoroughly cleaned and maintained at the end of each shift
- Must be flexible in regards to work schedules (weekends and holidays as required)
- Following all safety and sanitation policies
- Adhere to all LQA standards set for the department
- Consistently uphold a professional and well-groomed appearance in accordance with the company's established grooming policy
- Adhere to the hotel's vehicle handling and safety policies while driving hotel and guest vehicles

- Other duties as assigned
- Your experience and skills include:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry an asset
- Valid Alberta driver's license an asset
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimum supervision
- Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
- Starting rate of Pay: $18.88 per hour
