Job Description Job Summary The EHS Coordinator at Waters/BD will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies. This role promotes a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. Job Responsibilities Assist in the identification, evaluation, and control of EHS risks and hazards across all company operations. Conduct regular EHS inspections, audits, and walk-throughs to ensure compliance with EHS standards and identify areas for improvement. Develop and deliver EHS training programs to employees, covering topics such as hazardous waste management, emergency preparedness, personal protective equipment, and industrial hygiene. Maintain accurate EHS records, including incident reports, training logs, inspection findings, and regulatory documentation. Investigate EHS incidents, accidents, and near-misses, determining root causes and recommending corrective and preventive actions. Support the EHS Manager in responding to regulatory inquiries and inspections. Assist in the development and revision of EHS policies, procedures, and work instructions. Participate in EHS committees and teams, fostering a culture of safety throughout the organization. Monitor and track key EHS performance indicators, preparing reports for management. Stay up-to-date with relevant EHS regulations and industry best practices. Job Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related scientific field. 2-4 years of experience in an EHS role, preferably within a manufacturing or life sciences environment. Strong understanding of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant EHS regulations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively train and present information. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to conduct effective EHS inspections and incident investigations. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. EHS certifications (e.g., ASP, CSP, CHMM) are a plus.
