Responsibilities
- You will drive the technical execution of our mobile product, working closely with backend, frontend, and product teams.
- Your day-to-day focus will be:
- Lead full, engineer-driven product initiatives. You will be involved in the entire lifecycle of a feature, from inception and technical planning to shipping and scaling.
- Directly support and build out the card product across 5 individual product teams. This includes owning core user flows like card ordering, transacting, 3DS authentication, bill splitting, recurring payments, and dispute resolution.
- Write clean, maintainable code on your platform, advocate for mobile best practices, and collaborate with the wider globally distributed tribe to ensure a seamless mobile experience.

- We are looking for a highly technical, product-passionate iOS engineer who brings:
- Deep experience building, shipping, and maintaining high-performing apps at scale on iOS.
- Proven experience working with modern iOS UI development (SwiftUI, Swift Concurrency)
- You don't just build to spec; you have a passion for customer experience. You rely on data to make decisions and actively look for ways to fix customer pain-points.
- The ability to articulate complex, deeply technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and cross-functional peers.
- Comfortable working in an environment where you can pivot effectively when priorities change, quickly adjusting workflows to meet team objectives.
- Thrives in a globally distributed squad and tribe environment, working as a strong team player who elevates the engineers around them through technical excellence.

As a Senior iOS Engineer, you would be responsible for shipping the direct customer touch points on one of Wise's most impactful products and highest growth products.
