Job Summary The Production Warehouse and Pre-Weigh Supervisor is responsible for managing personnel, materials, equipment, and all activities within the Production Warehouse, Pre-Weigh operations, and Sample Lab. This role ensures alignment with business objectives by driving safety, quality, productivity, delivery, maintenance, and cost performance. Safety, Compliance & EHS Promote and enforce a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance with all safety policies and procedures. Communicate safety hazards, concerns, and near-miss incidents with Pre-Weigh shift leads and Sample Lab operators. Submit work orders for safety issues and equipment repairs and follow up on completion. Support EHS initiatives, including root cause analysis, risk identification, and corrective actions. Ensure adherence to all PPE, environmental, and facility safety requirements. Quality, Food Safety & Sanitation Ensure compliance with GMPs, Food Safety standards, and Quality policies. Enforce product safety protocols, including foreign material control, ILVT practices, and high-care area requirements. Maintain high standards of sanitation, hygiene, and cleanliness in all areas of responsibility. Ensure accurate and complete preparation of blends to meet Right First Time (RFT) targets. Monitor and enforce control procedures, including waste handling practices. Ensure shop floor documentation is completed accurately and on time to support traceability and production tracking. Continuous Improvement & Reporting Drive and participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as audits, Gemba walks, and risk identification programs. Implement and sustain CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions), including training and process improvements, to reduce customer complaints and improve first-pass quality. Communicate performance gaps and operational challenges to management with recommended actions. Operations & Production Management Oversee daily operations of the Production Warehouse, Pre-Weigh, and Sample Lab to ensure alignment with the Carrollton facility production schedule. Ensure required raw materials are transferred from the Raw Material Warehouse in a timely manner to support production. Coordinate and enforce adherence to planned production sequences in Pre-Weigh operations. Control workflow to maximize capacity utilization and ensure efficient use of labor, tools, and equipment. Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels within the production warehouse. Ensure all raw material pallets are properly wrapped, in good condition, and stored correctly when racked. Maintain readiness of operations to support continuous production flow and shift-to-shift handover. Coordinate maintenance activities with Maintenance Technicians and track work order completion. Team Leadership & Performance Supervise and support employees across Production Warehouse, Pre-Weigh, and Sample Lab functions. Communicate daily targets per Pre-Weigh cell and Sample Lab by shift and monitor performance against targets. Continuously evaluate team capabilities, staffing levels, and resource needs to meet operational goals. Ensure employees are cross-trained and capable of performing multiple functions. Build effective working relationships with internal departments to support operational excellence. Maintain a strong commitment to safety, quality, and service excellence. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong teamwork and leadership skills. Previous manufacturing experience preferred. Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed to support customer demand. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. without difficulty. Ability to weigh ingredients accurately using equipment such as floor scales and flow meters. Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and identify process improvement opportunities. Ability to wear a full-face respirator when required for handling specific materials.
