About the role

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL ENGINEER (SECTION MANAGER) in the ENGINEERING & RESEARCH DIVISION at the NAVAL FACILITIES ENGINEERING AND EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE CENTER. This position is part of the NAVFAC and Expeditionary Warfare Center (EXWC) Personnel Demonstration Project. The ND-03 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-12 through GS-14. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-05 to 11) grade level or (ND-2) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing complex engineering solutions to operational problems associated with program operations and equipment; 2) Allocating personnel and equipment resources to oversee the preparation, review, and execution of engineering projects for technical adequacy; 3) Frequently communicating and collaborating with program manager, logistics, technical authorities, and stakeholders in order to identify and resolve engineering problems.
