Mission: The mission of the Marketplace Associate is to own and continuously improve the Quality Assurance (QA) processes for our Audits & Inspections (A&I) marketplace by ensuring fast, accurate audit completion and payment while maintaining a high bar for quality as the business scales. This individual will both run the day-to-day QA operation and identify upstream improvements that increase first-time audit pass rates and reduce manual intervention. This role is based in New York City (HQ) with typically 4+ days in office. Outcomes: Your role will evolve over time but some of your early responsibilities will include: Own the end-to-end QA process for Audits & Inspections, ensuring audits are reviewed, approved, and paid within SLA while maintaining a high bar for quality Identify inefficiencies and recurring failure points within the QA process, proposing and driving improvements that increase first-time pass rates and reduce manual intervention Manage QA agents to daily throughput and quality targets, identifying and addressing outliers Use tools such as Google Sheets, SQL, and internal systems to analyze performance, create reporting, and surface insights on common audit issues Monitor and triage in-shift issues, taking action where possible and escalating when required Competencies: Do you have what it takes to acquire new partners successfully and fundamentally change labor? Success will be measured against the % of regions where we are delivering the target number of high-reliability partners. You will be provided the tools and reporting to manage to this outcome. Problem solver: You thrive working through and solving problems, quickly learn and adapt to new situations, and can synthesize the abstract into the concrete. Highly organized: You plan, organize and execute in a highly structured way & relish bringing formality to ambiguity, ruthlessly prioritize, and feel organization is second nature to you. Independent: Able to function with a high-level of autonomy once given a playbook. Compensation philosophy To provide greater transparency we share base salary ranges, which are based on role and level benchmarked against similar stage, high growth companies. Offers are determined based on multiple factors including skills, work experience, and relevant credentials.
