Amazon seeks a Principal Medical Advisor to drive clinical excellence for our global clinical excellence program, serving millions of employees and their families worldwide. You will apply your clinical expertise to shape healthcare solutions on an unprecedented scale, partnering with technology teams to innovate in digital health while solving complex challenges in cancer prevention, early detection, navigation, and survivorship. This role will provide medical expertise to support strategic healthcare initiatives across regional employee health programs. Partner with Benefits, Occupational Health, Corporate Medical Services, and Technology teams to translate clinical insights into scalable solutions that improve employee health outcomes. Key job responsibilities - Drive clinical decision-making for employee health programs - Partner with technology teams to inform digital health product development, translating clinical requirements into user-facing solutions - Respond to employee health escalations requiring medical expertise within established service level agreements - Develop clinical protocols and best practices that ensure quality and consistency across programs - Influence healthcare strategy by presenting clinical recommendations to senior leaders - Navigate ambiguous environments to address complex employee health challenges without established solutions - Balance employee health needs, regulatory requirements, and business objectives in decision-making - Stay current on healthcare trends, regulations, and innovations in clinical care
