The Sr. Hydro Technician is responsible for hydro testing components in the manufacturing process. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Set up and operate hydrostatic testing equipment to evaluate the structural integrity of pipelines, tanks, and pressure vessels. Prepare test systems by cleaning, sealing, and filling with water or other approved test mediums. Monitor pressure gauges, record readings, and identify any leaks or weaknesses during testing. Interpret test results and prepare detailed reports for engineering and quality teams. Follow strict safety protocols and environmental regulations during all testing activities. Collaborate with field crews, welders, and inspectors to ensure seamless testing operations. Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability. JOB REQUIREMENTS Previous experience in hydrostatic or pressure testing, preferably in oil & gas, manufacturing, or industrial settings. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and test procedures. Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with pumps, valves, and pressure systems. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying outdoor conditions. Commitment to safety and attention to detail under high-pressure situations.
