Requirements

• Minimum Nitec qualification.
• Possess a valid driving licence and own vehicle for site visits.
• Prior experience in the construction industry is required.
• Familiar with construction safety regulations and site operations is an advantage.

Job description: Conduct site inspections at construction projects near sewer lines and manholes. Identify and document the location of manholes, public sewers, and nearby construction activities. Take photographs and measure distances between construction works and sewer corridors when required. Liaise with project managers, engineers, owners, and consultants to obtain relevant documents and drawings. Check for non-compliance, unauthorised activities, and violations of sewer regulations, and report findings immediately. Inspect manholes and sewer chambers for blockages, defects, illegal discharges, or signs of contamination. Identify illegal sewer connections and makeshift toilet facilities. Prepare and submit inspection reports, including checklists, photographs, and observations, within the required timeline. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company procedures.
