Position Summary : Reporting to the Senior Director of Climate Strategies, the Senior Manager, Clean Energy Infrastructure Policy will be a key member of the national Climate Team. The Senior Manager will work in close partnership with state/regional policy staff to foster high-impact state policies that support the organization's clean energy infrastructure goals, specifically, influencing the rapid and responsible onboarding of utility-scale wind and solar projects and the modernized and expanded transmission grid the clean energy transition requires. The Senior Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing robust elements of this policy agenda, identifying opportunities, and helping build collaboration in key states. This role will provide critical policy research, analysis, writing and strategic guidance while adding capacity at the respective state level. The Senior Manager will work closely with the Senior Director to provide guidance and helpful tools to distribute across Audubon's network, including background materials for consultants and other relevant content for internal communications. This position is classified as hybrid preferred. Hybrid employees are expected to work in an Audubon office every Monday and Tuesday and an additional two days each month of the employee's choosing. Remote work within the United States may be considered only for candidates not within commuting distance of an Audubon office, in accordance with Audubon's "Where We Work" Policy.
