Responsibilities
- Assess and optimize Google Analytics tracking, including events, tags, and data collection strategies.
- Develop a technical roadmap to align Google Analytics with business objectives.
- Implement tracking enhancements using Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics to improve data accuracy.
- Conduct thorough testing (unit and end-to-end) to ensure data integrity and tracking efficiency.
- Document technical implementations and provide detailed guidelines for future analytics improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Data Management) to ensure seamless data integration.
- Support enterprise data ingestion, ensuring Google Analytics data is correctly processed into the data warehouse.
- Provide reports and insights, translating raw data into actionable business recommendations.
- Monitor performance metrics and ensure the tracking system aligns with business KPIs.
- Required Skills:
- 3+ years of experience in Google Analytics, including advanced tracking setup and data visualization.
- Strong technical proficiency in Google Tag Manager (GTM), JavaScript, and data-layer implementations.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
- Experience analyzing and optimizing website traffic, marketing campaign performance, and user engagement data.
- Expertise in A/B testing, data segmentation, and funnel analysis.
- Strong documentation skills to maintain clear tracking implementation records.
- Experience integrating Google Analytics data into broader data warehousing solutions.
- Project management experience to lead analytics tracking implementations and optimizations.
