We strongly believe in people's development and therefore every year we invest more and more energy and resources to remain an organization that is constantly learning. We want to ensure that you'll have the most talented colleagues and the proper environment to grow and achieve great results, to become what you desire on a personal and professional level. Join us, grow faster ! Product Manager iZi ( Conversational Shopping Agent ) This is a great opportunity to own a genuinely end-to-end, user-facing conversational AI product. eMAG is building a conversational shopping assistant: an agent that helps people decide in the categories that are hard to shop - electronics, appliances, tools, baby gear, and other high-stakes purchases where search breaks down and people open ten tabs just to feel confident. It understands what someone is trying to do, reasons across trade-offs, and turns hours of research into a one-minute conversation. We're early and moving fast. We're looking for a PM with great product sense and an entrepreneurial drive to ship - someone who owns what we build and why. What you'll have to do: Own the conversational shopping agent end to end, from the first prompt a user types to the decision they walk away confident in. You'll have a real, active voice in what gets built and why, not just how it's delivered Find the problems worth solving: talk to users, dig through real conversations and data, and turn ambiguity into a sharp, defensible bet Define and ship: write clear specs and user stories, partner tightly with engineering, design, and applied AI/ML, and get real experiences in front of users fast Own outcomes, not output. Define the metrics that matter, run A/B tests, read results honestly, and iterate Make the hard calls on a non-deterministic product, like the quality, latency, and cost trade-offs that don't have a textbook answer Coordinate cross-platform and cross-functional work, aligning Design, Data, Marketing, Commercial, and platform teams into one coherent experience Anticipate and surface risks early, in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment, proactive communication is as important as delivery What makes you a good fit: Experience and background Minimum 3 years in a Product Manager role Proven product ownership. You've taken projects from zero to one, making independent product decisions, not just managing a backlog handed to you. Product sense over a long CV. You start from the user's problem, have judgment on trade-offs, and have taste for what makes an experience good. We're optimizing for product instinct, not box-ticking experience. Solid grasp of how products are built end to end. Backend-heavy but also front-end. You don't need to write code, but you understand the concepts, constraints, and trade-offs well enough to have a real conversation with engineers (computer science background preferred) Comfortable using data to decide. Basic SQL is a plus, enough to pull what you need without waiting on someone else. Curiosity about AI products is a strong plus. Comfort reasoning about how an LLM-based product behaves. Never shipped AI but hungry to? Tell us. Soft skills and communication Entrepreneurial bias to ship . You want to put real things in front of real users and improve them with evidence, not polish a document. Proactivity and ownership . You drive your areas forward without waiting to be asked, and you take accountability for outcomes. Customer-first thinking. You put the shopper's experience at the center of product decisions, not just what's easiest to build. Sound judgment under ambiguity. You can make good calls with incomplete information and defend them, without needing every decision second-guessed. Clear, structured communication. You explain a business need concisely, write coherent specs, and present trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Adaptability. You're comfortable in a dynamic environment with custom-built systems, evolving processes, and a high degree of autonomy. What we've prepared for you: Medical subscription: Medicover or Regina Maria. A flexible budget that you can invest in yourself as you wish: meal tickets, holiday tickets, cultural vouchers, private pension, foreign language classes, eMAG, Fashion Days, Therme and Genius, membership to different gyms or even professional development classes. Different discounts from our partners: banking, mobile, dental medicine or wellness. Access to the Bookster library and free credits on the Hilio psycho-emotional health platform. An accelerated learning environment, with access to over 100.000 curated online res
