About the role
As Team Leader, you'll play a pivotal role in the day-to-day running of one of our children's residential homes in Preston. You'll lead, support, and inspire a team of Residential Care Workers, ensuring every young person in your care receives a consistently high standard of support, safety, and nurturing. This is a hands-on leadership role where no two days are the same. Responsibilities

- Working a rewarding shift pattern of 2 days on and 4 days off - giving you genuine work-life balance.
Requirements

- Existing Team Leader experience, or an ambitious and experienced Residential Care Worker ready to step into leadership.
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Strong working knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding legislation.
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility to work the 2-days-on / 4-days-off shift pattern.
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare - or willingness to work towards it (fully supported by us).
- Physical Intervention & De-escalation Training
- Our approach always prioritises de-escalation, and physical intervention is only ever a last resort. You'll be fully equipped, supported, and never left to manage challenging situations alone.
