Responsibilities
- You'll perform light duty work as an intermediate-level auto tech. You'll improve your skills in a supportive environment. Other responsibilities include:
- With guidance:
- Performs auto maintenance tech duties, including oil and filter change, fuel filter change, transmission flush and vehicle inspection for mechanical deficiencies
- Performs battery testing, maintenance, and replacement
- Performs various repairs including tires, safety inspections, and interior/exterior components
- Complies with applicable procedures and regulations regarding recyclables, fluids, tires and disposable trash
- Utilize approved vendors to obtain parts needed
- Perform an evacuation and recharge on the AC system.
- Perform maintenance on equipment.
- Utilize approved vendors to obtain parts.
- May up fit new vehicles with necessary equipment
- Complies with applicable procedures and regulations regarding recyclables, fluids, tires, and disposable trash.
Requirements
- You're a quick learner - especially when it comes to cars and how they work. You're a team player who always arrives at the shop ready to provide excellent work. You also have the following qualifications:
- Required:
- 1 or more years of related work experience.
- The ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.
- Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required
- Preferred:
- A high school diploma or GED
- Drug Testing
