In this role, you'll own the strategy and execution of intelligent systems embedded directly into our consumer and merchant experiences. You'll operate at the intersection of cutting-edge AI and real-world fintech applications-driving innovation while ensuring scalability, reliability, and measurable business impact. You will join a team responsible for defining and driving the strategy for our next generation of AI products. A core part of this role involves close collaboration with the Agentic AI team to guide the design of agent architectures, including planning, tool use, and orchestration. A critical focus will be on defining the product roadmap and prioritizing features to ensure our AI products are powerful and production-ready by strategically managing the tradeoffs among model performance, latency, and cost. Interesting problems you'll get to solve Own the end-to-end product strategy for Zip's Agentic AI products, including end-to-end ownership of customer-facing AI product outcomes. Identify and prioritize opportunities to build smart AI-powered products that deliver better decisioning, personalization, and outcomes across consumer and merchant experiences. Drive AI best practices and principles across the entire Product Management organization. Operate at both the system-level architecture and the product detail Collaborate with Engineering, Risk, Design, Legal, and Marketing teams Align stakeholders on roadmap priorities and trade-offs Present strategy and results to executive leadership Own the success of AI products through clear metrics; driving measurable ROI, adoption, and sustained product growth. Balance innovation with regulatory, compliance, and risk considerations typical in fintech What you'll bring to the team 10-12+ years in product management, with significant time in enterprise systems, AI, or infrastructure, including 3-5+ years in leadership roles Experience owning complex, high-stakes systems (e.g., payments, risk, marketing, AI platforms) You've led teams and shipped products that operate at scale Strong background in platform products, APIs, or developer ecosystems Deep understanding of: LLMs, prompt engineering, and evaluation frameworks Agent architectures (planning, tool use, orchestration) Tradeoffs between model performance, latency, and cost Ability to translate complex technical systems into customer value You can engage credibly with engineers and researchers on system design Track record of owning multi-product portfolios and driving measurable outcome Clear alignment with Zip's core values What you'll get in return Zip is a place where you'll get out what you put in. The actual base salary will be determined by various individualized factors, including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, location, internal equity, as well as other objective business considerations. The annual base Pay Range for this position is $181,000 - $220,000. This range reflects our US national compensation band (USN). Additional premium percentages may apply based on our tiered premium strategy. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or commission awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. *Please note
