This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of high-quality administrative support for the MBChB programme, working closely with students, academic staff, and placement providers. You will play a key role in supporting a dynamic and student-focused learning environment. You will be responsible for: Providing administrative support for community placements, including coordination with students, GP practices, and hospital teams Acting as a first point of contact for student and teaching-related queries, providing guidance and escalating where appropriate Maintaining accurate student records, placement data, and documentation to support teaching and learning delivery Supporting placement organisation, including scheduling, communications, and responding to changes or cancellations Assisting with meetings, correspondence, procurement processes, and general administrative duties across the team We welcome candidates who bring diverse perspectives, experiences, and approaches to their work. You should demonstrate: Essential criteria: Experience of working in an administrative role with structured processes Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise work in a busy environment Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and confidence working with data and records Digital literacy, including experience with standard IT systems and a commitment to excellent customer service Desirable criteria: Experience of working in a higher education, healthcare, or research environment Experience supporting programmes delivered across multiple locations Experience using financial systems for ordering and procurement Experience supporting student-related processes or placements Experience contributing to process improvement or service enhancements We value transferable skills and real-world experience as much as formal qualifications.
