Job Title: Procurement Manager Reports To: The Procurement Manager will report to the Director of Procurement, Head of Procurement, Vice President, or equivalent leadership. Job Overview: The Procurement Manager is responsible for leading strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier relationship management, contract negotiations, and procurement operations to support SPS business objectives and client requirements. The Procurement Manager will oversee procurement processes across assigned categories including indirect goods and services such as facilities, IT, professional services, office operations, HR services, and business support functions. This role serves as a trusted advisor to leadership and operational teams while driving supplier performance, process improvements, and procurement best practices. Overall, this position continuously offers the highest level of service to all clients, vendors, and SPS employees while maintaining a professional image of the company by providing prompt, courteous, and efficient service. Duties and Responsibilities: Strategic sourcing & commercial delivery Lead end-to-end sourcing activities (RFI/RFP/RFQ) across assigned categories Deliver measurable cost savings and value (cost avoidance, demand management, contract optimization) Support implementation of category strategies defined at regional/global level Category ownership (execution-focused) Take ownership of selected indirect categories (e.g. IT, professional services, BPO, facilities, HR services) Maintain category plans aligned with broader procurement strategy Monitor supplier markets and identify commercial opportunities Supplier & contract management Manage key supplier relationships and performance (KPIs, SLAs) Lead commercial negotiations and contract renewals Mitigate supplier risk and ensure compliance with internal policies Stakeholder engagement Partner with business stakeholders (Finance, Operations, IT, HR, etc.) Challenge demand and specifications where appropriate Act as a trusted advisor on procurement and commercial matters Process & governance Ensure procurement activities follow internal policies and best practices Support continuous improvement of procurement processes and tools Contribute to reporting on savings, pipeline, and supplier performance Competencies : Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of procurement systems, sourcing tools, and contract management processes. Qualifications and Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, Procurement, or related field required. Minimum of 5-7 years of procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or vendor management experience required. Experience managing indirect procurement categories within a corporate, professional services, outsourcing, or enterprise environment preferred. Proven track record of negotiating contracts and delivering measurable cost savings. Experience managing supplier relationships and vendor performance programs. Strong understanding of procurement methodologies, sourcing strategies, and contract structures. Experience working in matrixed or multi-site organizations preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong business acumen. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret procurement and financial data. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound business judgment. Experience with procurement software, (ERP Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, or sourcing platforms preferred. Professional certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), CPM (Certified Purchasing Manager), CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional), or related certifications are a plus. Required to maintain an overall professional appearance and attitude. Adhere to all policies and procedures required. Physical Demands: Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work at a computer for extended periods of time. Manual dexterity required for operating office equipment including computers, phones, and printers
