The Assistant Client Manager supports the servicing and administration of Property & Casualty insurance accounts while developing foundational knowledge of insurance operations, client service, and agency systems. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Account Support & Policy Administration Process certificates of insurance and auto ID cards Follow up on notices of cancellation Manage policy change requests and endorsements Assist with renewal policy issuance and renewal proposals Prepare binders and invoices Obtain loss runs and premium finance quotes Run MVRs and internal reports (e.g., M&S reports) Create loss summary tracking and policy checklists Prepare ACORD applications Perform online rating for small business accounts Client & Carrier Support Process applications, policies, endorsements, schedules, certificates, audits, and related documentation accurately and on time Maintain timely and accurate invoicing and monthly expirations Follow workflows and quality standards within the agency management system Update client and policy information in Sagitta Post documents to the EPIC client portal Maintain paperless filing standards Training & Development Participate in lunch‑and‑learn sessions, external workshops, and insurance operations training Work with a designated mentor to build skills in insurance, finance, sales, and marketing Personal & Organizational Responsibilities Set priorities and manage workflow to meet deadlines and service expectations Maintain positive, professional relationships with clients, carriers, vendors, wholesalers, and internal teams Keep proposals, insurance summaries, workflow logs, and documentation up to date Stay informed on industry trends, products, coverages, legislation, and technology Support team goals through collaboration, communication, and accountability Perform additional duties as assigned Supervisory Responsibilities None Qualifications & Key Competencies Core Skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Service‑oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills High attention to detail and organization Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment Willingness to learn and take direction Effective collaboration both independently and in a team setting Technical & Analytical Skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Ability to read and interpret business documents, insurance policies, and regulations Ability to calculate basic insurance‑related figures (e.g., percentages, commissions, premiums) Education & Experience College degree required California Property & Casualty license required 1-2 years of prior insurance experience Experience with agency management systems and insurance platforms is a plus Physical Demands Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use hands for computer and document handling Occasionally lift or move up to 10 pounds Vision requirements include close vision and ability to focus The national average salary for this role is $58,000 to $64,000 in base pay and exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
