QA Engineer / Test Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test cases.
• Execute manual and automated functional, regression and integration tests.
• Validate APIs, backend services and system integrations.
• Analyze test results, report defects and work closely with developers to resolve issues.
• Contribute to test strategies and continuously improve quality assurance processes.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement and retrospectives.
• Support the team in delivering high-quality software releases.
• Required qualifications
• At least 10 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Strong experience with test automation.
• Experience with one or more automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress or Selenium.
• Experience testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
• Experience working in Agile development teams.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Requirements

• Experience with performance or load testing.
• Experience testing mobile applications (iOS and/or Android).
• Experience with security testing.
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
• Experience working with Azure or AWS.
• Assignment details
• Start: ASAP
• Duration: 12 months with the possibility of extension
• Location: Malmö, Sweden
• On-site: 5 days per week. No remote work.
