Health, Safety & Environmental Specialist

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Health, Safety, and Environmental or similar is preferred, or 5+ years of experience directly in the field of Health, Safety, and Environmental.
• Thorough understanding of federal, state, and local health, safety, and environmental regulations and permitting requirements.
• Strong environmental and industrial hygiene background preferred
• Experience in an industrial fabrication, or manufacturing environment preferred
• 1 st aid, CPR, AED, certification/experience preferred
• Experience in providing remote support
• Experience and/or knowledge with waste handling requirements
• Familiar with hazard analysis process and mitigation techniques
• Proficient in basic application software systems (Word, Excel, Project, Outlook)
• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and facilitation skill
• The successful candidate will possess:
