Coordinate inbound and outbound cargo logistics by booking shipments, arranging transportation, and tracking deliveries to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods Liaise with external carriers and customers to provide shipment updates and resolve logistics issues promptly Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation for all logistics activities to support operational transparency Assist in preparing reports and analyzing logistics data to identify opportunities for process improvements Verify and check freight rates for sales purposes to support pricing accuracy Follow up with carriers and airlines to ensure smooth shipment execution and address any delays or concerns Required competencies and certifications Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics or freight forwarding roles to perform core logistics coordination tasks effectively Proficiency in logistics management software and MS Office applications to manage shipment data and documentation accurately Knowledge of freight forwarding processes, customs regulations, and supply chain management principles to ensure compliance and operational efficiency Preferred competencies and qualifications Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize and multitask logistics activities efficiently Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders including carriers and customers Problem-solving mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement to enhance logistics processes Ability to work independently to manage logistics tasks with minimal supervision
