About the role

This position is located in the Wage and Hour Division (WHD), Office of Regional Enforcement and Support (ORES), Northeast Regional Offices. The incumbent will serve as the Deputy Director of Operations. The position assists the Director of Operations in executive direction, guidance and operational matters in developing, planning and carrying out all Wage and Hour programs within the assigned region. Based on agency needs, additional positions may be filled using this vacancy. You must meet the requirements listed below to qualify for Supervisory Management and Program Analyst.Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level GS-12 in the Federal Service. Specialized Experience applicants must have have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level GS-12 in the Federal Service. Qualifying specialized experience includes: 1. Experience in applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques in planning, conducting and documenting analytical reports, including findings conclusions, and recommendations. 2. Experience in planning, scheduling and conducting projects and studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve work operations in a program or support setting. 3. Experience preparing project papers and organizing and delivering briefings to managers, which encourage understanding and acceptance of findings and recommendations.
