Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) programs across all sites
- Conduct regular workplace inspections, audits, hazard identification, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations
- Develop and implement safety initiatives, preventive measures, and corrective action plans to strengthen workplace safety performance
- Facilitate safety orientations, emergency preparedness activities, fire drills, earthquake drills, and health and safety training sessions
- Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-miss cases, and recommend preventive and corrective actions
- Monitor compliance with company policies and government regulations including DOLE, BWC, BFP, PEZA, and DENR requirements
- Maintain accurate safety documentation, audit reports, incident records, and regulatory reportorial submissions
- Serve as Secretary to the Safety and Health Committee and provide recommendations on safety-related matters
- Respond to employee safety concerns and workplace emergencies in a timely and professional manner
- Collaborate with HR and Admin teams in supporting day-to-day site and workplace administration initiatives
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to promote a safe, compliant, and productive working environment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or any related field
- Certified Safety Officer 3 (SO3) in accordance with DOLE requirements
- Additional certifications such as BOSH, LCM, HIRAC, and TOT are highly preferred
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in occupational safety and health
- Strong knowledge of Philippine OSH regulations, safety compliance standards, and government reportorial requirements
- Experience in conducting workplace inspections, incident investigations, safety audits, and risk assessments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to train, guide, and influence employees on workplace safety practices
- High attention to detail with strong documentation and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety reporting systems
- Experience in BPO, shared services, or corporate environments is an advantage
