Responsibilities

  • Execute monthly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and compliance with all regulations.
  • Process monthly absence data, including sickness and other legally mandated paid and unpaid absences.

  • 2-3 years of operational payroll experience in Bulgarian payroll.
  • Proficiency in Bulgarian and English.
  • Experience with payroll processing in other Eastern European countries is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, professional judgment, and responsiveness to employee inquiries; ability to quickly identify errors or exceptions.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with Workday or Strada is a plus.

At NielsenIQ, staying connected is essential. As part of the Global Payroll Center of Excellence, the Payroll Analyst plays a key role in delivering payroll services across the Eastern Europe region. This position works closely with HR and various internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely payroll for associates in Bulgaria, while also driving continuous process improvements. The role reports directly to the Cluster Leader and supports the broader Payroll function at NielsenIQ.
