About the role
As part of our diverse team based in Sydney, Gosford, Newcastle and Parramatta, you will help make a positive impact on someone's life every day. As a Senior Workforce Planner you will translate workforce data into actionable insights, prepare planning reports, analyse trends across multiple data sources, and collaborate with stakeholders to identify risks and opportunities, supporting strategic and operational decision-making. This will be a full time, permanent position based in our Sydney, Gosford, Newcastle or Parramatta office, with work-from-home flexibility (up to 3 days per week) considered from month three, subject to performance and approval.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and refine workforce planning models to forecast resource needs and align with operational and financial targets.
- Analyse historical and forecast data (e.g., workload, productivity, attrition) to inform supply and demand planning and provide evidence-based recommendations.
- Prepare clear, accurate workforce planning reports and packs, ensuring assumptions, methodologies, and outputs are transparent and reliable.
- Partner with operational leaders, Finance, HR, and other stakeholders to align workforce plans with business priorities, recruitment, and capability strategies.
- Identify workforce risks, gaps, and trends, while continuously improving forecasting accuracy and planning methodologies.
- Support team capability, uphold data integrity and confidentiality, contribute to a positive team culture, and ensure compliance with governance and WHS standards.
- ABOUT YOU
- Demonstrated experience in workforce planning, analytics, operational modelling, or related disciplines within complex operational environments.
- Experience analysing workforce supply and demand, productivity, capacity, and attrition to support strategic and tactical decision making.
- Exposure to or working knowledge of workers compensation systems, claims management, or comparable regulated service environments.
- Experience supporting leaders with evidence-based planning insights, forecasts, and scenario analysis.
- Understanding of workforce drivers in customer focused, service led operational settings.
- Experience contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within planning, analytics, or operational environments.
