Responsibilities

  • Oversee installation of cameras, Cat6/Fiber cabling, mounting brackets, and server rack configurations to ensure secure hardware setup preventing tampering

  • Verify camera fields of view are restricted to authorized areas to avoid intrusion into private living quarters per regulatory sensitivity requirements
  • Maintain daily site diary documenting progress, manpower, and deviations from project timeline
  • Review and verify accuracy of "As-Built" drawings and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals prior to final handover
  • Preferred competencies and qualifications
  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
  • 3-5 years' experience supervising Extra Low Voltage (ELV) projects, specifically IP-based CCTV systems and VMS platforms
  • Familiarity with networking concepts such as VLANs and PoE budgets
  • Understanding of storage architectures including RAID 5/6/10
  • Experience with Video Analytics and AI-based monitoring technologies
  • Awareness of Social Residential Homes Act or similar healthcare/social service regulatory frameworks

  • Demonstrate high ethical standards when handling sensitive site information
  • Communicate complex technical issues clearly to home management
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail to identify substandard installation or configuration errors
  • Reporting Line The Clerk-of-Works reports directly to the Chief Executive at the Social Residential Home.
