About the role

Under the direction of the Clinical Laboratory Management, the Supervisor is accountable for ensuring that appropriate and timely specimen handling, delivery, specimen testing, results reporting and customer service are provided in an efficient and cost effective manner in accordance with laboratory and hospital policies and procedures. The Supervisor is also responsible for ensuring that all laboratory procedures being performed in areas of responsibility will comply with all regulatory, accrediting, and licensure requirements. - Shift: Days, Monday- Friday, rotating weekends! - Looking for candidates with generalist experience, with specific experience in chemistry analyzers and quality control troubleshooting highly preferred

• Required Work Experience: Five (5) years of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
• Other Information: ** Florida State licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Supervisor in the defined area of responsibility.Additional Education Info: Graduate of an accredited Medical Technologist, Medical Laboratory Scientist program, or accredited Histotechnology program.
