You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FACILITY SUSTAINMENT COMMODITY SPECIALIST in the FACILITY SUSTAINMENT BRANCH of PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT NAV FACILITIES ENGINEERING COMMAND SE. . Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Conducting a wide range of supervisory functions to include being actively involved with all Navy EEO, affirmative action and OSH programs; Planning work schedules and meeting completion dates in accordance to priorities set by the work induction board ; Using Maximo and other computer systems to track various performance metrics ; Ensuring all applicable business management practices, procedures, policies and other directives are followed when affecting subordinate employees ; Applying comprehensive knowledge of equipment and facility maintenance requirements to support a facilities program; and Conducting Navy Working Capital Fund (NWCF) budget formulation and execution management. Physical Demands Frequent physical activity is required, including climbing, walking and stooping during visits to construction sites and installation facilities. May have long periods of standing, recurring bending, stooping, and lifting weights up to 50 lbs. Work Environment The incumbent's work is mixed between an office setting and in the field and involves exposure to moderate discomfort and risks while in the field. Employee is exposed to moderate risks and must take safety precautions and wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
