Engineering Tech. Work Schedule: Onsite - Buffalo, NY Our team in Military Aircraft is looking for a CNC Programmer to join them. You will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Technical Leader and will have an onsite work schedule in East Aurora, NY. As a CNC Programmer, you'll be at the forefront of both new product development and continuous improvement of existing manufacturing processes. You'll work hands-on with high precision parts, applying advanced CNC programming and machining knowledge to solve challenges and optimize performance. As a CNC Programmer, you will: Create detailed operation sheets and CNC programs to produce high-precision machined parts and sub-assemblies. Define manufacturing sequences, tooling, gauging, and machine requirements to streamline production. Work closely with engineering, quality, production, and vendors to resolve issues and enhance manufacturability. Be hands-on in the production environment, assisting with program prove-outs and troubleshooting. Recommend and implement process enhancements, tooling upgrades, and design modifications. Assist in estimating costs and timelines for new proposals and tooling development.
