About the Position: Sierra Army Depot is located in Herlong CA, a rural town in Northern California. Herlong is approximately 60 miles north of Reno, NV, and 35 miles south of Susanville, CA. Employees work a 4/10 work week, Mon-Thurs, 0630-1700 hrs. Youth Facilities and daily child care available. The depot serves as an Army Expeditionary Logistical Support Center, (Mass transportation is available at minimal cost.) Surrounding area boasts a full range of outdoor sports/recreation activities. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Evaluating logistics operating procedures for improving program administration 2) Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the supply logistics program, 3) Providing technical advice regarding logistics standard, 4) Identifying employees' training needs for the supply directorate. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Inventory Management Supply Management Supply Planning Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
