Amazon is seeking a talented attorney with an interest in government contracts and related transactions to join the Amazon Legal team supporting Amazon Leo, Amazon's initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. This position requires that the candidate selected be a U.S. Citizen in order to comply with U.S. government-imposed requirements related to the nature of the work and/or where it will be performed. Key job responsibilities - Support government contracting compliance efforts - Review government contract solicitations and proposals - Provide guidance on subcontracts and technology development agreements - Advise on intellectual property matters - Ensure compliance with a wide range of U.S. and international government contracts - Develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways and engineer processes that address gravity and risk to provide the business with flexibility and freedom to move quickly.
