THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a WING COMMAND CHIEF MASTER SERGEANT, Position Description Number D2678000 and is part of the KS 190 Air Refueling Wing, National Guard. Military Grades: E-9 GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must have experience, education or training which provided a general knowledge of principles of organization, management, and administration. Compiling reports, letters, memoranda, etc., and required person-to-person contacts to convey information. Progressively responsible experience which demonstrates the ability to provide technical guidance and assistance in the type of work or in comparable work of the position to be filled. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must have specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, developing or helping to develop programs that will enable all ANG Wing enlisted personnel developmental and advancement opportunities, managing, studying, analyzing or overseeing the administration, coordination, planning, development, and execution of all Wing level ANG enlisted members programs and providing advice, developing initiatives, policies, programs and recommendations in matters pertaining to all assigned enlisted personnel. Must have experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel. ADDITIONAL REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: All CCM candidates must possess an associate's degree or higher from a nationally or regionally accredited academic institution. All CCM Chief Master Sergeant candidates must have previously attended the ANG Chief Master Sergeant Orientation Course (ANG CMSOC). CMSgts must have scored 80 or above on last two fitness tests, or 90 or above on most recent fitness test; no failure on any portion within the last 12 months. Must include current/historical PT scores. Must be worldwide qualified (both deployment and assignment) and not have a permanent assignment limitation code "C3." Physical Demands: The work is primarily sedentary, although some slight physical effort may be required. Work Environment: Work is typically performed in an adequately lighted and climate-controlled office. Occasional travel is required.
