Summary of the Role: As a Technician II, Engineering (Equipment Technician), you will be responsible for maintaining, cleaning, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial machinery and equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring and control circuits. Diagnose and resolve servo controller and motion control system issues. Read, interpret, and apply electrical, electronic, and mechanical schematic diagrams. Support equipment commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting activities. Assist with equipment upgrades and modifications to improve performance and reliability. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify root causes of equipment failures. Education and Work Experience: Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Technology, Electronics Technology, Electrical Technology, Electromechanical Technology or a related field of study. At least 1 year of hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing industrial equipment and machinery. Industry exposure in Electronics or Semiconductor Manufacturing setup is highly preferred. Skills and Competency Requirements: Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Familiarity with industrial safety standards and maintenance best practices. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy in maintenance and inspection activities. Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational objectives. Ability to maintain a continuous improvement mindset by identifying opportunities to enhance safety, efficiency, and equipment reliability.
