THE JOB: The Cashier for the Employee Dining room in The Cosmopolitan is responsible for providing fast, friendly, and accurate service to casino guests in Food and Beverage outlets. This role involves but is not limited to handling cash and credit transactions, maintaining accurate registers and ensuring compliance with casino and regulatory standards. The cashier also supports F&B operations by assisting with stocking areas such as bakery, maintaining cleanliness, and delivering exceptional guest service. THE STARTING RATE: $23.05 Hourly THE DAY-TO-DAY: Provide courteous and professional guest service by greeting guests, addressing inquiries about menu items, promotions, or casino offerings, and resolving or escalating concerns as needed. Accurately process guest transactions (cash, credit, vouchers, player comps, promotions). Balance cash drawer and reconcile sales at the beginning and end of each shift. Ensure compliance with company policies, gaming regulations, and cash handling procedures. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all workstations and surrounding areas. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE: High School Diploma or GED Required Must be 18 years or older 1+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience ( Cashier, retail, or Food and Beverage environment) Required Must demonstrate a proficient commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences, ensuring every interaction is welcoming and professional. Required Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Required Must meet all state and local licensing requirements (e.g., gaming license, alcohol service permit, if applicable).
