Requirements

  • Cleans and sparkles units prior to resident move-ins and assists with trash collection.
  • Picks up debris in the hallways of buildings, around buildings, inside parking garages, corridors, elevator lobbies, and amenity spaces.
  • Cleans restrooms, common areas, and leasing office as designated by Community Manager.
  • Vacuums and mops hallways, corridors, and stairwells.
  • Assists with snow and ice removal from building walkways and parking areas.
  • Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies and orders supplies when necessary, and in conjunction with the maintenance team.
  • Assists with minor repairs such as changing light bulbs, paint touch up, etc. as requested.
  • Ensures that unsafe conditions are corrected in a timely manner, including unlocked/inoperable doors, slip hazards, etc.
  • Assists with picking up dog waste on site in conjunction with the maintenance team.
  • Assists with walking amenity spaces after hours to ensure they are not being used past designated times, as applicable.
  • Responds to after-hours noise complaints and lockouts, as applicable.
  • Walking the building and checking all doors and windows to ensure security of the building.
  • High school degree
  • Previous porter experience is preferred but not required.
  • This position requires strong attention to detail, strong time management skills and one must have the interest and ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Hold a valid, unrestricted driver's license and ability to operate company equipment, including but not limited to golf carts and maintenance vehicles.

  • Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to an office environment with their primary exposure being on project work/sites.
