This role involves hands-on automation system support, integration, maintenance, and continuous improvement efforts. The individual will also contribute to documentation aligned with SDLC and GMP compliance standards. Automation Engineer Responsibilities: Provide automation system support and troubleshooting in a GMP environment Lead or support integration of new automation systems and devices Perform system maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements Contribute to SDLC processes, including documentation and SOP development Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system reliability and compliance Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related discipline 3+ years of experience in industrial automation Strong experience with Ignition platforms Solid understanding of IT/OT integration Hands-on experience with PLC programming Experience working within GMP-regulated environments Proven ability in system and device integration Familiarity with PI Historian preferred Experience with DeltaV/Unicorn systems preferred For US geography, the salary range for this position is shown below.
