Staff Product Manager - Member Understanding & Intelligence

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior and executive leaders: Structure clear narratives and options for high-impact decisions in a high-ambiguity environment. Connect work to company-level goals and use measurable outcomes to build trust and alignment across Oura.
• Drive internal adoption of capabilities: Work closely with other product teams to identify the highest-value integration points. Ensure the platform is well-documented, understood, and reliably supports their roadmaps.
• This is a US hybrid-remote role, with the expectation to work from our San Francisco offices a few times a month.Openness to flexible hours to support cross-time-zone collaboration with teams in Europe and the U.S - should be available for morning meetings 3+ days/week.

Requirements

• We would love to consider you for our role if you have:
• Product Experience: 7+ years of Product Management experience in data platform, ML, or consumer technology products, with a proven track record of shipping successful products at scale. At least 2 years at Staff/Principal level or equivalent strategic scope.
• Consumer Product Intuition: Experience shipping consumer-facing features at scale. You understand the "Value > Effort" equation and can balance platform capabilities with member-facing experiences that feel rewarding, not burdensome.
• Systems Thinking: Ability to design data architectures and ontologies that scale across multiple use cases and teams. Comfortable working with concepts like ETL pipelines, data normalization, and interoperability standards.

This is a Staff-level individual contributor role with strategic ownership of member understanding and intelligence capabilities. You will drive strategy independently and be relied upon to make high-impact decisions with minimal oversight. You will work closely with product, engineering, and executive leadership on the strategy for Oura's personalization platform, and you will often be the person connecting company-level goals to concrete roadmaps. We're building the member understanding and intelligence layer that powers Oura's evolution from tracking device to personalized health companion. This role will lead our US-based AI/ML capabilities, driving strategy for how we use member context to deliver truly personalized experiences. You'll ship personalization features, run experiments to validate what works, and build foundational capabilities that other product teams leverage.
