About the role
The Operations Manager is a high-impact individual contributor responsible for owning and driving execution of clinical, operational, and quality-related initiatives across all Pomona Valley medical group clinics. Responsibilities
- Own, track, and manage completion of clinical and operational tasks across all Pomona Valley clinics.
- Establish timelines, accountability structures, and follow-up processes, and maintain tracking systems and reporting for task completion.
- Coordinate with site leadership to ensure execution of priorities, and identify and close execution gaps.
- Support development and implementation of standardized clinical workflows and process improvements.
- Support HEDIS, STAR, and quality performance initiatives.
- Assist with risk adjustment, documentation accuracy, audits, chart reviews, and compliance workflows.
- Track performance trends and escalate issues to leadership.
- Assist initiatives to improve patient retention, access, growth, and continuity of care.
- Act as liaison between clinical teams and IT, supporting EMR and clinical system implementation, adoption, and troubleshooting.
- Partner cross-functionally with clinical, operations, quality, and IT teams to align clinic sites and implement regional priorities.
Requirements
- Active LVN license in California.
- 5+ years of clinical operations or ambulatory experience.
- Experience with quality programs such as HEDIS or risk adjustment.
- Strong organizational and execution skills.
- Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Office.
- Experience in managed care, Medicare, or Medi-Cal environments (preferred).
- Experience supporting multi-site operations (preferred).
- Bilingual English/Spanish (preferred).
