In this role, you will work close to software, hardware and systems specialists to design, verify and improve communication solutions that need to perform reliably in both test rigs and complete vehicles. The team works with requirements, simulations, measurements and proof of concept activities from both a hardware and software perspective. That means you get a broad role where you combine testing, automation and analysis to help ensure that new functionality meets high expectations on quality, safety and performance. Job DescriptionYou will design and implement test cases for wired communication applications, with focus on quality, reliability and efficient verification. You will drive test execution using both manual and automated methods to validate functionality in rigs as well as in complete vehicles. You will analyze test results, measurements and system behavior to identify issues early and support fast, practical solutions. You will improve and optimize test automation processes to increase efficiency and strengthen the overall test strategy. You will monitor how test activities are executed across the organization and help secure consistent, known quality. You will create and maintain test-related documentation, including plans, outcomes and verdicts. You will collaborate closely with colleagues in software, hardware and systems, as well as with external partners, to ensure the technologies are implemented as intended. RequirementsB.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent Knowledge of Vector CAPL scripting Experience in Python development for automation Experience with automated software testing and CI/CD Knowledge of distributed electrical systems and electrical architecture Experience with test tools such as Wireshark and CANalyzer/CANoe Experience working in agile development and familiarity with software development best practices Strong communication and documentation skills in English Swedish driver's license (B) Ability to complete a background check before onboarding Nice to haveISTQB certification Hands-on experience writing automated test cases at higher test levels Experience in embedded software development in C++ What We OfferPermanent employment at Avaron AB Occupational pension Wellness allowance of SEK 5,000 per year Application Selections are made on an ongoing basis - apply as soon as you can.
