Executive Engineer, Mechanical

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on design experience in building and/or infrastructure projects
• Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks
• Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and local building codes in Singapore
• Excellent project management and technical skills
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team
• Outstanding problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with sustainable design principles and energy-efficient systems is a plus

Job Description Design and perform calculations for mechanical engineering works, including ACMV, fire protection systems, and plumbing and sanitary systems Conduct technical feasibility studies, life cycle analyses, and planning for building engineering projects Prepare comprehensive study reports, design reports, technical notes, and public consultation papers Develop detailed tender documents and technical specifications for projects Evaluate tenders and prepare thorough tender assessment reports Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success and timely delivery Provide support in project management and contract administration for building engineering contracts Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation in mechanical engineering solutions Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations in Singapore
