Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Continuous Improvement and Lean basic tools, including: 5S methodology
  • Indicator definition and management
  • Pareto analysis
  • Ishikawa (Fishbone) diagrams
  • SIPOC (process mapping)
  • Flowcharts
  • Turtle diagrams
  • Excel: Basic formulas, pivot tables, and charts.
  • Intermediate level, with the ability to understand and work with Lean-related materials in English. Specific Knowledge: Lean tools and methodologies

Additional Information

As a Continuous Improvement Coordinator , you will improve operational efficiency and promote a culture of continuous improvement across PPG Comex's regional Distribution Centers. You will work #LI-onsite reporting directly to your manager at our Distribution center located in Guadalajara and you will also be responsible for two additional sites located in Minatitlán and Tijuana. Main Responsibilities You will implement the strategy for deploying new systems. Additionally, you will implement the strategy for the Continuous Improvement Systems,Teams, and Operational Position Certification programs. We will implement these strategies across the regional Distribution Centers in Guadalajara, Minatitlán, and Tijuana. You will advise business leaders in the analysis and review of results to determine actions that strengthen Continuous Improvement Systems, and programs for Teams and Operational Position Certification programs. You will provide support to operational personnel in the execution of Continuous Improvement Systems across different levels. You will conduct system audits to assess performance and obtain diagnostic insights. You will help develop and implement recognition programs, team forums, and the Recognition Platform. You will guide partners through the annual Strategic Agreement process, from Distribution Center Directors and Managers down to the associate level. You will monitor compliance with the main metrics defined within the Strategic Agreement process. You will manage the tracking and reporting files for Continuous Improvement System behavioral indicators and team performance evaluation processes through Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)-based reporting tools. You will implement a skills development program aimed at supervisors, empowering them in their role as leaders responsible for developing Teams.
