About the role

You will serve as a FSC PROGRAM MANAGER in the PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT of NAVFAC SOUTHWEST. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Identifying, developing, and defining program policies related to facilities maintenance; 2) Analyzing problems and developing recommendations for corrective actions related to facilities maintenance; 3) Applying knowledge of Public Works organization structure, operations, production facilities, processes, and methods in order to plan and coordinate actions; 4) Applying knowledge of military command structure, mission, programs, and organization relationships and their impact on military facilities planning, acquisition, and management process; 5) Applying a wide range of qualitative and quantitative assessment techniques in order to evaluate effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity of programs; 6) Demonstrating interpersonal skills to present recommendations and negotiate effectively with all levels of management and customers and implement recommendations where extensive agency resources are involved or where extensive changes in established procedures exist.
