About the role
Our Operations group is currently looking to add Pipeline Coating Technician(s) to the team, based in Dawson Creek, BC. Reporting to the Crew Foreman, we are seeking skilled and safety-conscious Coating Technician(s) to apply protective coatings to pipelines in accordance with project specifications and industry standards, ensuring the long-term integrity and performance of critical pipeline infrastructure Please Note: this position will work a rotation of 6 days on / 1 day off Duties and Responsibilities Apply protective coatings to pipelines in accordance with project specifications and industry standards Perform surface preparation, including abrasive blasting and cleaning Operate coating equipment and tools safely and efficiently Ensure quality control standards are met, including thickness and adhesion checks Assist with coating repairs and field joint applications Maintain a clean and safe work environment Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and client requirements Complete daily reports and documentation as required Valid Class 5 Driver's License Previous experience in the Pipeline Construction industry AMPP (NACE) Coating Inspector Program (CIP) certification All job level tickets: First Aid, H2S Alive, CCSO Must be able to pass a pre employment Drug and Alcohol Test We offer a comprehensive and competitive total rewards package that includes a complete range of employee benefits to ensure you have the tools necessary to manage, maintain, and improve your health and wellbeing.
