Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain complex Python applications and services, ensuring high performance, security, reliability, and scalability.
  • Participate actively in all phases of the application development lifecycle.

  • Participate in internal and external tech communities, events, and knowledge-sharing activities.
  • Share experience and knowledge gained from projects, especially around Banking and Capital Markets delivery.
  • 6+ years of experience in Python development.
  • Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, or Capital Markets environments is highly desirable.
  • Good understanding of Capital Markets concepts such as trade capture, trade processing, risk analytics, reporting, asset classes, pricing, or trading workflows.
  • Strong understanding of common programming paradigms, including object-oriented programming, functional programming concepts, and asynchronous programming.
  • Strong familiarity with design and architectural patterns, clean code principles, and enterprise application design.
  • Proficient in Python and related frameworks or libraries such as FastAPI, Flask, Django, Pandas, NumPy, SQLAlchemy, PySpark, or similar.
  • Practical experience with relational and/or NoSQL database systems such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, MongoDB, Cassandra, or similar.
  • Ability to design, build, and analyze complex SQL queries.
  • Experience building REST APIs, backend services, data processing components, automation tools, or reporting solutions.
  • Good understanding of version control systems such as Git or similar.
  • Experience with messaging and event-driven systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, AWS SQS/SNS, or similar.
  • Experience with microservices, distributed systems, integration patterns, and data-intensive applications.
  • Experience with CI/CD, deployment tools, and container platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or similar.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Good problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Advanced English level is mandatory.

Requirements

  • Experience in Capital Markets technology consulting or financial services delivery.
  • Exposure to Fixed Income, FX, Equities, Derivatives, Fund Transfer Pricing, Asset Liability Management, or Market Risk platforms.
  • Experience working with Quants, Traders, Risk Managers, or Finance stakeholders, or data analytics teams.
  • Experience with data engineering, analytics, dashboarding, or reporting tools.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Exposure to libraries or tools used in quantitative, risk, or financial analytics.
  • Exposure to Gen-AI tools applied to software engineering, documentation, productivity, data analysis, or reporting automation.
