Procurement Assistant Manager

Responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement activities by processing requisitions, obtaining quotations, placing orders, and maintaining accurate procurement records
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify procurement needs and build strong supplier relationships to support operational requirements
• Communicate with vessels, manufacturers, freight forwarders, and agents to ensure timely and economical delivery of supplies
• Assist Superintendents in monitoring and managing procurement budgets to support financial control
• Perform additional procurement-related tasks as assigned to support team objectives
• Preferred competencies and qualifications
• Minimum GCE 'O' Level or related certificates in Procurement or Supply Chain
• 1-2 years of global marine related procurement experience in supply management
• Experience in procurement within a ship management company is advantageous
• Ability to work independently and manage pressure effectively
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to interact professionally across all organizational levels
